Hello Warriors, Please could someone help me out? I'm not a techie! How do you do keyword tracking for PPC campaigns involving capturing emails and building a list? I use Getresponse and want to track signups per paid keyword to establish the overall cost per lead for each and identifying the viable keywords. Is there any way of doing this? Problem is that after users hit the submit button they are diverted to the Getresponse website and not to one of my hosted pages. Normally do some simple php to pass a query string between pages but this clearly won't work in this instance. Would appreciate any help as I'm stumped! Andy |

Hi Andy Do you have Google Analytics installed on your website? You can set up goals within your account and attach them to your Adwords (I'm presuming ppc is through adwords) account and Google Analytics will be able to tell you which campaign sent the quality traffic. If you need help with this, just let me know. Lesley |

Hi Lesley, Thanks for your help. I do know how to setup and add Google Analytics but the problem with GetResponse is that once a user submits their email address the confirmation page is actually a page hosted by GetResponse and not a page that I have hosted on my own domain. For goal setting with Google Analytics can the goal URL be a page on a third party site? Thanks, Andy |

Hi Andy I use GR too and you can create your own confirmation page and then add the tracking code to it, that's what I do to track my signups. It's very easy to do and you can create your own confirmation page in the mailing list settings that overwrites the GR default confirmation page. There are other workarounds too. What is your website built with? Let me know and I'll help you set it up. Lesley |

Hi Andy Can you send me an email lesley at internetgrowthsystems.com and I'll talk you through setting this up. It may be easier than writing it all in here. Lesley |
