Wp e-commerce and Paypal IPN problem

Hi,

I am trying to see if there's any help here with Wordpress e-commerce plugin since my cry for help in their forum wasn't heard.

Maybe there are warriors out there who are using it to power their store who could help me.

I am using the plugin to sell digital stuff. Unfortunately, after payment I need to manually approve the sale before the buyer gets an email with download instruction.

The trouble is the log in the plugin is not accurate (i.e even if the buyer abandon the cart in the last minute, it'll say that an order is received ).

How can I make it automatic? Is it a problem with Paypal IPN ?

    I would say it was a problem with the Pay Pal ipn, you need a where to go on payment ie download page or a where to go if the sale is canceled ie your site.

    An alternate way would be to log in to Pay Pal and set up buy now buttons to handle this for you. It is a longer way around but will work. You will need to use the advance/more options settings to achieve full automation.

    Or use a separate script to handle the sales like a joint venture or affiliate program script. These normally have Pay Pal IPN integrated in to the script. Then just link to this from your Wordpress blog.

      Thanks for the suggestion. i was thinking of doing those if i'm still stuck with this problem for another day.

      Fortunately, i had just got this prob sort out after i tried the development version of the plugin. It works beautifully now.

      Again, thanks for taking the time to help. i would've tried your suggestion if the development version fails.
