Default Job Market Geo Targeting Script

I am looking for a script that will allow me to have a Job Listing site that will be directed by a script that will allow the visitor to punch in a zip code, city name, state name and find that listing for jobs in that area. Maybe pull from Monster.com and any other top employment sites I can pull from.

I am also looking for a script that would essentially do the same thing with Business listings of geo targeted areas.

Are you looking for a custom built script? Or something off-the-shelf you can use?

A cool idea might be to add IP lookup so you could automatically present jobs in a visitor's area based on their IP address. To do this you could use GeoLite City which converts visitor's IP address to nearest town/city:

MaxMind - GeoLite City | Free Geolocation Database

Would this allow me to go without an information colleciton box and just put up a button that says something like:

Click Here For Jobs In Your Area

Then would the visitor be sent the area that is based on their IP address, and can surrounding area listings also be included somehow, like evey city within 50 miles or something to that effect anyway.

Sure, but depends on the data you have. Do you have an example of the Monster.com data feed?
