I posted this in the main forum, but i think ill post it on here as well as its kinda software related. In an industry where you can pretty much get some relative success by copying what other do, do many use IP cloakers of some software that complete covers up your actions on the internet? I just had this thought that if someone knew exactly what steps you were taking they could pretty much jump into the same niche and try and do the same. Is this usually the case? or do many here actually cover up all their tracks? Is it necessary to take security to such lengths? my assupmtion is YES but i would like your oppinions on this. |

The probability of your competitors tracking you by your IP address is virtially nill, unbless your competitors happen to be the major search engines. If they are not the SEs, then , unless you are doing something naughty, you don't need to worry about it.. Hope this helps Bruce |

Dear mun, You should be worried about the EU legislation that states that all Internet activity must and will be logged and kept by the ISP for at least 6 months (in some countries, for two years)… I am in doubt that someone will ever try to “spy” on your methods, as long as they will not be considered “suspect” form a point of view or another. Except for the case in which you will get rich over the night , which I honestly wish you!Success! |

Umm, no. If I wanted to copy you, I'd look at your profile, search your username, find your product, and copy accordingly. An IP cloaker wouldn't help you there. |
