picture rotator for slider how to do it

Ok so what I have is a site that has a slider at the top. It rotates the first four posts in the slider. If a post does not have a picture it puts a picture in that is a set image. What I am trying to do is instead of having just one picture to pick from when there is none in the post, I want it to randomly pick 1 of like 12 pictures. How do I do this? Is there a plugin that I could use then change some code in the slider?

I think you are trying to do this in wordpress if so then you can do that easily.
If your theme supports that facility to be included then you can do that easily.
Or you can hire someone professional who is capable of doing this sort of work.

Sorry I didn't specify, yes it is wordpress. I know it could be done just wondering if there is an easy way. I assume there is some php program or plugin like an ad rotator. Then I would put that information into the place where the slider picks the image. The theme doesn't support this.

You can start to looking for them in Google. Use keyword slide rotator. There are many plugin over internet.
