Ok...I've used the search function and I know how to do a PHP redirect regarding masking my affiliate link. Supposedly...LOL. My question is this: when I go to "save as type" in notepad (I use windows vista by the way) I only have two options as a *.txt file or *.*all files. How do I change the txt file in my folder into a php file when theres no option to do so? This is confusing the hell out of me. Thanks for your replies. |

Use the *.* all files option and just name your file with a PHP extension. For anything other than a very simple redirect page you should really be using a proper text editor - try PS Pad, it's a good free editor that "understands" PHP, HTML and CSS. editor PSPad - freeware HTML editor, PHP editor, XHTML, JavaScript, ASP, Perl, C, HEX editor Bill |

Thanks Bill, got it. I wasn't aware of that I could actually change the file from .txt to .php just by typing it in...DUH. Appreciate your fast response. |
