Default Setting up DLG single-product membership-help needed

Hello there,

I'm trying to setup a single payment member site with DLG and I'm having a hard time! I thought while I waited for support to answer my ticket I would check here.

When I try to generate the code to add to to my member product HTML page I get this error:

Quote:
The thankyou page does not seem to be on the current server (url removed).
Please check your spelling.
I have DLG installed on one domain but I wanted the member site at another domain which is where I uploaded the membership files from my dlg folder. Does it have to be at my main DLG domain?

Any tips on setting this up would be appreciated. I'm stumped and frustrated right now.

Thanks.

DLGuard will only work with sites that are on the same server (maybe same account on that server, not 100% sure about that one). If you want to use DLGuard on one domain with your membership site on a second domain.. the second domain needs to be on the same server as an "add-on domain" in your cPanel. For example, let's say your DLguard domain is domain1.com, your membership domain is domain2.com as an "add-on domain" and your cPanel username is dom1.. your directory structure for your domains will look something like this:

domain1.com: /home/dom1/public_html
DLGuard: /home/dom1/public_html/dlg
domain2.com: /home/dom1/public_html/domain2.com

The trick is.. in DLguard when you get the code to put in your membership pages, do not use www.domain2.com or it'll give you the error. Instead, use www.domain1.com/domain2.com
(or whatever folder your add-on domain is in)

This way DLguard can find the path to the files for that other domain, you'll be able to add the code and access it through domain2.com just like you would if DLGuard was installed on that domain.

If this doesn't make much sense (I'm not too good with giving instructions.. lol), go to the DLguard forums and there's some info there about setting up DLGuard with add-on domains.
