I'm trying to redirect some old Vbulletin threads as Wordpress posts. I have the posts ready and published, and I've installed Urban Giraffe's Redirections plugin and set up the 301 redirects for everything. Except nothing happens. If I type in the old forum URL, it still gives me the Vbulletin default "you need to login to view this page". Should I completely remove Vbulletin to get this to work correctly? Or is there something I need to do to .htaccess ? I've tried a different redirect plugin and the same problem happens so I don't think it's the plugin itself. Any ideas? |

I'm not exactly sure how -- I tend to avoid .htaccess when I can ![]() Should 301 redirect changes be instantaneous? |
