Wordpress moving issues

PROGRAMMING

I am moving all content from one domain to another just so I can change urls. I have moved over all the files and database. The issue is wordpress still reads the old database. Where to I change it to read the new one instead?

wp-config.php in the root folder - you can change some other settings there too.

The easiest and safest way to do the trasfer database is to use Search Replace DB script.

To use the script, you should install it in the root folder of your WordPress install. You should also, to protect yourself from automated scanners looking for this script, rename it first. eg, you could name it as rrreplace.php – you’d then visit a url like yourdomain.com/rrreplace.php and follow the on-screen instructions from there.
What you absolutely, 100% certainly MUST do is to delete the script once you’ve finished.
