Default Framed or NON-Framed affiliate page?

I was trying to cloak my affiliate URL and I found 2 ways to cloak it.
The first method is a FRAMED html method (URL staying within your own domain).
The second method is a NON-FRAMED php cloaking method (Directly redirecting URL to affilate page) .

First example :
Code:
http://test.top-recommendation.com/recommends/yahoo/
Second example :
Code:
http://test.top-recommendation.com/recommends/google/
Please copy and paste the above link into your web browser to test it, and you will get what I meant.

May I know :
1) Which is a better way to cloak my affiliate link and serve better protection for affiliate link theft?
2) Which method is proven to be having a higher conversion rate and thus serve as a better way to maximize my earning as an affiliate ?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion made

P/S : You can take a view at the source code of the FRAMED URL if you would like to, and let me know if that is vulnerable to any kind of risk..

Thanks for your time, but any specific reason why is the non-framed URL is better than the framed URL ?

Hi Aiden

Does you affiliate tracking rely on cookies? If so you may want to avoid using iframes, as cookies can be problematic with them. A lot of this has to do with the users browser security settings, as per this article:

Share This : Cookies and iframes

Believe it or not iframes actually can slow down pages (although ironically they can also speed them up in some cases). This article is really good and explains this and a whole lot more, in fact its worth the read even if you don't plan on using iframes.

Best Practices for Speeding Up Your Web Site

I'm sorry mywebwork, after reading the articles which you gave me, I became much more confused now. But I guess what it was trying to say is, don't use an Iframe. correct me if I am wrong.

Well after reading some solutions being provided in this thread, I've opted to go with PHP redirect method.

It seems to be a good way to hide your affiliate link, and next to it, will be the server side redirection method. (.htaccess method).

Anyway thanks for the input given in here.

Thanks.
