RunDll errors

Does anyone know a safe way to fix RunDLL error popup messages..I get this popup whenever I startup my laptop..I am running on Windows 8.1..

I have checked online but just need to make sure I get the right fix so as not to download anything malicious or unsafe.

help from warriors appreciated

    RunDLL is an system application that runs a dll. If you are getting errors from it, it's being caused by the dll that it is trying to run. You need to figure out what it is trying to run.

    I'm no technical whiz..on doing a google search there's ways to fix it but it costs by installing a tool..
    I installed sofware that should have fixed it but it's still there. not nice after paying for the fix.
