A newbie question about Video " stream "

Hello again,

I want to start posting few videos on my WP from time to time, the videos themselves will be .mp4 extend, and I'll upload them to a different server than my website:

now the question is, if I use any player(including the WP built-in player), where I just put the external .mp4 video link... how does it work exactly then?

1) will the video stream from my host?
2) will it add any more bandwith usage to my host?
3) will it consume any CPU of the host?


I really don't know how it works when you add a video through external video link source and your own Video Player.
and all the answers matter to me because I'm using shared-hosting, so it will be a big deal. I dont wanna use bandwith or the cpu in my host.

    WP has a troubleshooting section.

    I think it is better to search there or send a message to support.

      It's not a matte of WP, it's a question that's connected to any website trying to show a video from an external source in the website's own flash player.

        what is the external resource you are using? you don't need to worry about bandwidth and CPU time if your site just embedding videos from other websites.
