Wordpress Multiple Site Search Engine?

I have multiple standalone wordpress sites...

I'd like for each of them to have a search feature that returns results from the entire network...

Is there a plugin / best way to do this?

All suggestions welcome.

    If you are using Wordpress Multisite, which it doesn't sound like you are, then you can use Wordpress Global Search.

    Otherwise, you will need to write a custom search function to query all databased involved (assuming they are on the same database backend). This is dirty. You should consider migrating to Wordpress Multisite.
