Creating My Own Affiliate Links

Hi Guys!

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to how I can create my own affiliate links to give to people who promote my products. These are physical products that customers can buy from a store.

We want to give people commissions for every sale we make through the customers they send over to us.

We looked at signing up as Publishers on Affiliate Networks but their fees were ridiculous.

Does anyone know how this can be setup?

    What e-commerce platform do you use? Most platforms have more or less developed built-in affiliate functionality, and / or it usually can be extended with 3rd party plugins for those platforms.
