Can I Render These Sitewide Links "NoFollow"?

Hi Warriors,

For SEO reasons, i am exploring the possibility of removing or at least rendering "nofollow", some site wide links "forcefully?" inserted on my blog.

These are
- Content Protect Plugin - Blog Protector
- Wordpress Theme - Evolve

They feature prominently in the footer of my homepage and every other page.

Can these links be rendered "nofollow"? Where can i edit these links in the template of my wordpress blog?

Thank you.

    Hi,
    You can edit the content protect plugin links by editing line 29 in blog-protector/blog-protector.php file. You can modify that file in the plugin editor "/wp-admin/plugin-editor.php" of your site.

    Links for wordpress theme - Evolve would be either in the footer.php or functions.php file, you can edit that in the wp default theme editor.

    Do take a backup before working on any of those files, if any thing goes wrong upload the backup files via ftp and every thing would be good.
    Regards,

      Thanks so much once again Raj.

      While the content protector link was easily traced for editing in line with your explanation, that for wordpress was somewhat more difficult as it was not found in the wordpress template. I however found it in the following file using ftp.
      ==>wp-content/themes/evolve/library/functions/functions.php

      I have now finally rendered the links "nofollow"

      Thank you once again.

        I am glad i could provide any help to you. I didn't had that wordpress theme that you are using so it was just based on a wild guess (i have developed over more then 150 wp themes from scratch).
