Software Ideas for IM

I am planning to build a simple software which will be of daily use in internet marketing.

At present I am a one man army without plans of outsourcing, so not talking about a complex software for IM.

I am thinking about a simple software which I can build using java or nodejs, web application or stand alone.

For example:

1) When I enter a keyword I get results from yahoo questions and answers, which I can download in .pdf for my content research purposes

2) Similarly, a software for scraping articles from authority sites like about or wikihow which helps in gaining more knowledge in a niche.

Can I get more ideas from you all?

After building the software I will of course share it in WF for free, so its a win-win situation for all of us

    Well, it looks like you confused a software idea.

    You can say a bot is also a software and that's theorically true, but bots in general are being made & used to automate tasks (Just like the 2 examples you cited above)

    Softwares are more complicated than that - for example a soft that track your SERP ranking for a list of keywords given, and re-check after x time if your rank is increased or decreased. This is a software, and I know we have already lots of SERP tracking services.

    Back to your question, why don't you make a bot that automates/help you scale your current business?

    If you are just bored and want to code, you can make a bot that grabs royalty-free plr and turn it into a WSO

    If you're good enough, make it makes the sales thread and reply to members' questions.

    Yes, software or bot, or a tool or an automated program, whatever you call it .

    I just need more ideas from you all. So that I get some idea of which software or tool IMers are in daily need.

    I am getting ideas from browsing through the WSOs. Once I make a list of some 10 ideas, I can go ahead and start building one.
