Keep spam out of host mail boxes

PROGRAMMING

I have a client whose 6 email accounts on their domain at Hostgator filled up with about 6 gigs of spam. I don't want to set them up with something intrusive like box trapper. Any good solutions? Some of them are using web mail and others are using Apple clients or PC clients.

First option to try with that are user level filters which can be set on cPanel, that could minimize the amount of spam received and is not that intrusive. SpamAssassin is useless these days.
Consider moving to a host with SpamExperts, such as Veerotech. That will fix it. That's what I do.

  SpamExperts is probably going to be the best route to this. Boxtrapper ends up getting IP's blacklisted when it comes to spoofed email addresses and SpamAssassin is always a few steps behind spammers.It catches some, but is falling more & more behind as time goes on & spammers get more clever. My vote is for SpamExperts or similar.
