PROGRAMMING

I want to create a lead gen tool similar to this. Thought some of you growth hackers would know how to accomplish this.

What this link is showing asking for access to your google adwords account. Once you give access them access they do an analysis on your adwords account.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of how this is achieved? I know it needs to pull from api but do not know what this tool would even be called.

  Sorry mate - that might have been a bit cheeky.. check out the OAuth information on there - that's what you're after really.
  
  If you're not familiar with OAuth, it's an authentication mechanism used to allow other parties access to your Google/Twitter/Facebook/whatever account in a controlled fashion.

  Hi! Basically the Oauth protocol will authenticate the user and pass back a "token" that can be refreshed to allow ongoing access to the user account based on the scope of permissions they allowed. I implemented this for some AdWords and Bing Ads reporting software. When you start up the app, notice the Google login - from there the app obtains permissions and you no longer are required to log in.
