Leadpages free templates

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask.

Has anyone tried out leadpages free templates? There is a page of pretty awesome free templates here: The Ultimate List of Free Landing Page Templates | LeadPages
They come in html, css, and .js files. Does anyone know how to set up the 2 step opt-in process so that it works like the demo?

I was trying this 2 step opt-in template: "Perfect Squeeze Page" Template but the index.html files does not work as per the demo i.e. when I click the 'YES! Send me the free report' button, nothing happens.

What should I add into the ahref?

In fact, there isn't even an autoresponder section in the html files so I'm guessing its the .js files.

I'm hoping that anyone who has successfully tried the templates be able to advice on this. Thanks.
