Firefox back button

Hi,

I apologize if this is not the place to post this question,
but is there anyone experiencing their Firefox back button
being greyed out? And also their "history" not showing up?

I did a search and it seems I'm not the only one having this problem
but any suggestion I've read doesn't work.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

    This would have been better in the Off-Topic forum, but I don't mind answering.

    The back button being grayed out would most likely be because you opened a new tab or page at one point and the original page was exited out of.

    The history being gone... You may be running Firefox in "Private Browsing" it automatically deletes all history/cookies/cache on exit.

    To disable Private Browsing, go to "Tools" and click on "Stop Private Browsing".

    If this doesn't fix it, then I'm not sure what else could be your problem, sorry.
