Help with implementing Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking
I'm hoping someone here might be able to share some wisdom on how to implement ecommerce tracking. The documentation is generally lacking, most guides I find walk you through turning it on in analytics etc but when it gets to the code part almost EVERY article says "now tell your developer to do things" yet no one ever hints at how I can do it myself.
So here's the setup. I'm on wordpress with the woocommerce plugin. I have analytics setup and the universal snippet. I have the tag assistant plugin and the analytics debugger plugin. I've seen that, on the thank you page of my cart the 'ec' plugin is loaded (as is the ecommerce one at the end) and that the variables for ecommerce are loaded but they are all undefined.
What I need help with is how to pass data into those variables dynamically (it obviously won't be the same product/s every time).
Is there anyone here who can/is willing to help me figure this out?
