NOOB help.

I understand the whole internet marketing concept but i just realized that if you have a strong programming / networking / networking programming background it will help you more than anything. I kinda am overwhelmed with what i need to learn. So my question to you is, where should i start? I know how to make web pages but none that are dynamic. I am not really sure on how to set up my own servers but i know they are needed.

    Yeah, it is the balance between the biz and tech part.
    I have also a good tech knowledge.
    But, suck in the biz section.
    But, I'm learning.
    It takes time, but I getting there.
    Just plow the forum after knowledge.

    Setting up your own servers are not necessarily needed.
    I found the best way to learn things was to jump in and start doing them.
    You are dealing with the Internet......you have an entire world of knowledge at your fingertips.

    Here are a couple of ideas:
    Photoshop Tutorials and Flash Tutorials - Tutorialized
    W3Schools Online Web Tutorials

    Dynamic pages are created by PHP/MySQL and/or JavaScript.

    Although before learning those, you'd really need to learn HTML (XHTML) and CSS.

    It's a slow process, but I'd firmly recommend learning XHTML and CSS (XHTML is the same as HTML with a few changes - once you know HTML, you can 'learn' XHTML within 10 minutes) which will allow you to create websites from scratch, etc.

    From there, I learnt PHP and MySQL and sort of picked up JS as I went along.
