I developed some software that I will be selling soon. I am wondering how I can disable an issued serial key?

    At the moment the key is part of the software. The software has a builtin database of random alpha numeric keys

    You would need an online database of serials. Have the software check if it has an internet connection, and if so, try to authenticate. If it can't contract your server, let it stay licensed. The system can still definitely be broken, but it's much better than an offline-only system based only on your algorithm. With there being key generators and such.
