Add Licensing To Your Product

So most products I see have some sort of licensing scheme to protect their products. Is there a popular licensing product out there that makes it simple to do this?

There are some. The specifics will depend on what kind of product you're referring to:
    • Desktop? (PC? Mac? Linux?)
    • Web? (PHP? ASP? JSP? ???)
    • Ebook? (PDF? Exe? ???)
If you can be more specific, someone can probably jump in here with a specific solution.

It's an Adobe Air app. I was looking around and found a site that might do what I want. But it's still in private beta unfortunately.

I use a software called Multimedia Protector. (not an affiliate link) It is an excellent software that can protect most types of files including pdf files and even multimedia files, which most other software cannot.
The hosting option makes the registration of the software using keys completely automated. However I found it is only viable for software that is priced above say something like $25. It may not be viable for low priced pdfs like those that sell for say $7 or so, since each key costs money.
