What a bummer that C++ doesn't have a built in GUI toolkit

That has always bothered me. I love the language and the syntax and how easy it is to send output to the screen. But I have discovered long ago that creating GUI programs in C++ is... well to me it looks extremely complicated and downright frightening.

I'd like to ask is the reason C++ doesn't have a built in GUI framework because the language actually came out, what was it in the early 80's?

And back then nobody had a personal computer because they didn't exist yet?

And there was no such thing as a graphical user interface?

Or are there other reasons why the creator of the language didn't include a GUI toolkit?

    i find coding in python is easier, and they have a py2exe and easy to build GUI quick to learn it as well..

    There are tons of GUI libraries for C++ : QT, GTK ... and many many more
    GUI is always implemented as a library not as language construct.

      I use Visual Studio its so easy to use once you get the hang of it.. plus there are millions of videos on it on youtube.. that would be the best i say... i never thought of it before because i was in middle of doing python coding lol...

    C++ is just a language. It does not have anything built into it. If you want tool kits you have to find the library extensions.instrumental ringtones - If I am not wrong there are some C files that have some sort of GUI stuff in them, but they are fairly limited.
