Open office PDF will not download

Hi guys and girls

One of my ebooks was produced using a free pdf program- this leaves a logo of the program on each page.

I decided to transfer the ebook to open office writer so as to get rid of the logo. try and look more professional.

Well the open office pdf version will not download from the download page. I have put the old one up while I look at this but there must be a setting or something I don't know about

I have checked the file names and the pages html a couple of times and I'm sure its not a typo

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Kenj

I haven't tried that. I was hoping to use open office for convenience as I already have it.

What do you mean when you say it "won't download"? What error message do you get?

      No error message

The pdf starts up and stops after 3 seconds without appearing

Try uploading the file using binary transfer method.
Compare file sizes between what's on your computer & the server.
Does the file open properly from its location on your hard drive?

posting a link to the working and non-working pdfs might reveal something.

Solved the problem by renaming the new pdf with a different name to the one the old one had.

I still do not know what was going on but at least I can get on with the next thing.

      Thanks for the input
