WordPress: How to show different sidebar content based on category?

by perneali45 2 replies
Hi, folks!

I have a WordPress site.

Is there a way to show different content in the sidebar, based on what category the posts belong to?

For example:

Category 1:

Post a, Post b, Post c: "Category 1" content appears in their sidebar.

Category 2:

Post d, Post e, Post f: "Category 2" content appears in their sidebar.

Maybe a specific theme, or a plugin can do this?

Bonus question: Similarly, can we show specific content at the TOP and/or BOTTOM of posts that fall within a specific category?

Thanks!
