What I'm looking for is a way to track my PPC clicks and somehow follow the individual through my email marketing campaign and notice who actually buys something.

Currently, I'm driving traffic to a squeeze page and from there the marketing begins in the email followup. Obviously some people are buyers and some are not. Ideally I would be able to turn off the keywords that don't convert to buyers.

The other tricky part of this is that most of my traffic comes from the content network, not the search traffic. In this case I'd like to be able to track the user by the URL of the page that contained the ad that they clicked on.

Anyone know of a software package or service that will do any of that? I have Google Analytics, but so far have not been able to figure out how to do this with it. Maybe someone here knows or can at least point me in the right direction.

Its easy enough to track what keyword the click came from, but I think its almost impossible (I maybe wrong) to determine the URL of the site that hosted the click.

Only BigG knows that and they don't give out that info..

    Sorry I can't help more

Google does not release this information because of privacy issues.

Bruce... after a couple of hours poking through google's help section I cannot find info on how to pass the keyword that the user typed in through to my landing page. Do you know how to do that or can you point me to that info?

Bummer about the URL from hosted ads. I guess the only option is to use a variety of landing pages and narrow it down to the ad group by the landing page URL.
