I checked the WP Options and the old URL was still there so I corrected it but still not working, But thankyou for that solution.

I know it may seem like a no-brainer as a possibility, but have you tried to simply delete the blog and re-install it back into your root directory ?

If you decide to, don't forget to export/save your blog first if you need to retain any previous info.

Hopefully you manage to get it all sorted out. Good luck!

I'm in the exact same boat here.

I haven't got their reply yet but I'm not giving cpanel info.

I mean, come on, they could give us step by step instructions. Installing WP and a database ain't supposed to be hard!

Well, best of luck. If I think of anything else I will give a shout. I use wordpress as well, but have never had this problem.

I solved it. I created a database and then with PHPMYadmin imported the one that came with the package. Still inside PHPMYadmin, I changed the home URL in the wp_options table as DarkLour suggested. Bingo.

Did you try a fresh reinstall of the WP-Theme and make sure the address includes the http or https?

Mine was being a little rough at one point, and it took a few days to solve it. Hope you get it solved. I also just made sure that WP ADDRESSand BLOD ADDRESS were both the same, and that seemed to work also.
