Saving psd, please help

I am editing a ministe template using photoshop and I was able to make what I want... the problem is, I don't know how to save my edited job to appear on template? I am no master and this is the first time I am trying hard to edit and make my own minisite to cut production cost... Please help.. How do I save my edited file to appear as images on template's folder..

The template comes with psd file.. how do I replace the images with the psd file I edited?

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.. thanks a lot

    Hi,

    You would use the PSD file to create a new template and then you have to chop the psd file up into small pieces and save/over-write the gif or jpeg images in your template. This isn't always that easy to do unless the PSD developer left a load of guidelines built into the template. In which case you can use the guidelines to crop the PSD into pieces and save the individual pieces.

    Sometimes I find it's easier just to take the jpegs/gif files and change them directly. But to do this you usually need a good working knowledge of Photoshop.
