Wordpress Google Map Widget

PROGRAMMING

Can someone recommend to me a wordpress plugin that will display a local map something like what you can do with Squidoo on a blog?

I'm also looking for a weather widget if someone can recommend that too.

  XML Google Maps is for an XML sitemap for spiders to crawl websites.
  
  I don't think this was very helpful to Groovy 99 and you should probably read more carefully.
  
  That being said, not sure if you found your answer or not but you can give this one a try:

As MattFraser pointed out, there is a pro version if you want that in the sidebar as a widget, although you can get around that by using a PHP text widget, and using do_shortcode() with the mapid and height/width you need.

For the weather widget, there are a few decent ones... try one of these out for size:
