    Start with these (no affiliations):

Secure WordPress - Good over all security plug-in

WordPress File Monitor - Will notify you by email if there are changes in your files

WordPress Database Backup - good insurance in case of a problem. Just make sure it is set to email you the back-ups.

There are many more that you can search for over at wordpress.org >> extend>> plug-ins

Then there is also change passwords and update everything that has newer versions.

I've written a few articles on WordPress security - nothing too technical, more focused on common sense steps.

Here's one - and at the bottom you'll find links to the others:

One basic thing to remember with wordpress sites is to upgrade to the latest stable wordpress version. Do the same with your plugins.
And backup your wordpress site regularly.
