    Hi,

You need to explain more about what you are trying to do.
    What is the software?
What does it run on? php/mysql etc
If so have you set up all the database connections etc?
Are you using FTP to upload the software? Is that where you are getting stuck?

Give as much info as possible and someone might be able to help.

    Cheers

      Hi,

Thank you for responding on my answer. I convert HTML to EXE with a program. When I done it it was all o.k., I can open it on my computer. But when I upload it on my server in "public_html" directory, then I can not open it anymore. And yes, I use FTP to upload. Is this enough information?.
      Thank you,
      Dusan

No not enough information. HTML is not usually an executable. What is it specifically that you are trying to do? Is it something with scripting? If so PHP or ASP?

          Hi,

.exe files will not run on your server. An exe is designed to run on a computer.

If you upload it and click on it, your computer should attempt to download it to your pc and then run it.

Is there a reason you did this? I know there are programs that convert HTML to .EXE. The reason these programs do this is so you can package an entire website so it can be run from a local file.

This is how a lot of companies used to do sales presentations. They would create a website as a sales presentation, package it as an .exe and then email it to someone. The recipient could then click on the .exe and get a whole website on their hard drive.

This used to be done when everyone had dial up connections. These days with fast broadband connections, its not often done.

So to recap, .exe will not run on a server but you can email the .exe to people and they can then run the site elsewhere...

Although note if you email someone an .exe file your email will likely bounce as containing a virus.

          Hope the above helps.

          Cheers

Hmmm...Fisrt time I hear that you can convert html to exe I guess that maybe you misunderstood in your application readme.txt file or you want to achieve something different what you say.
