Installed via Fantastico & displays, but where is the folder on FTP?

I had no issues installing WP using Fantastico for the first time.
This was within my client's cpanel (not my site this time).

In the past I've always been on godaddy with is completely different.

I even downloaded another template from WP and "activated" it. I can "SEE" the template when I visit the site... and get into the admin and everything...

HOWEVER... WHERE ARE THE FILES HIDING? I am looking for the folder that houses the template so I can figure out the custom header options, etc.

It is supposed to be in a folder called "blog", right? That is what I told Fantastico.

And given I can see the site (fastlanetravel.com/blog) they are somewhere, right?

Yet, when I log into the FTP of the site... no such folder.... How do I find this?

I thought the template would offer up more info once activated like the info I see when I visit the site of the template.

Also, how do I determine best plug ins to install and where to get them from?

THANKS!
Christine

Are you looking in the public_html folder? Depending on the configuration, the WP files are either in public_html OR in public_html/blog. As for plugins, it really all depends on what functionality you want. You can usually find what you're looking for on wordpress.org.

Thanks, Christopher... I DID FIND THE "BLOG" FOLDER.
The server this client's site is on is slow to propagate sometimes and I just looked too soon.

Yes if you install your blog via fantastico when it should install in your root public_html folder (unless you have renames and added additional directory). Also you can identify your wordpress blog if it's contains:
      /wp-admin
      /wp-includes
      /wp-content/plugins
      /wp-content/cache
      /wp-content/themes

      etc...

As far as the plugins, will definitely check out that link. Thanks!

Is there something I have to do so this is a "thanks" to you?
