I need to open a PHP file in notepad but adobe keeps poping up?

I bought a plugin that needs to have the access key added. In order to do that, I need to open up the PHP file in a text editor and enter the license key.

When I click on the Config.php file, I don't get the option to open up my text editor, only adobe opens up.

Does anyone know how I can open up my text editor?

Thanks

Open your text editor first then use File -> Open -> browse for "config.php"

With out knowing what operating system you have........ general instructions

Somewhere in your control panel you've got a file manager or file type thing. You've associated php files with Dreamweaver.

    Change it
