Links Gone Haywire with Wordpress
I was wondering if someone here might be able to help me with this.
I have one of my wordpress sites linked to another. The link from the one site is on the front page only, not on a template file that would put it on every page sitewide.
When I checked my backlinks in Yahoo recently, it was showing that ONE link about a thousand different times as separate links. The addresses it was giving were like this: http://www.mysite.com/?deffine=19384 ... and then another would be exactly the same but with a different number http://www.mysite.com/?deffine=39205, etc.
By the way, the spelling of "deffine" is the way that I find it in Yahoo. I thought that might be a unique clue, but I'm not seeing any typical issues when I search for it.
Any idea what's causing this? I use the supercache plugin - might that be a cause?
I'm worried the search engines are going to think I'm trying something funny.
