WP Super Cache Removal

I'm trying to remove the WP Super Cache plugin from my WP blog and everytime I click on "Yes, Delete these files and data" I get this on a new page:

UNINSTALL_WPSUPERCACHE must be set to a non-blank value in uninstall.php

    Hi Bre

    The messages are essentially telling you that the "wp-load.php" file is missing and therefore cannot be uninstalled - looks like a bug in the uninstaller.

    I suggest that you manually remove the plugin by going into your wp-content/plugins directory with your FTP program and deleting the plugin folder. Technically this may not completely delete the plugin as it may have made additional database tables, but these usually can just be ignored.
