Add random paragraph breaks to SPUN ARTICLES?

3 replies
Hello all,

I stumbled upon a useful video from Daniel Tan where he has some tips on building backlinks, however at one point he suggest using the following syntax at the beginning of randomly selected sentences to create random paragraph breaks, however when I use it , the articles gets all jumbled and the original spinning seems gone and not usable, can anybody shed any light? The syntax seems to work in his video...

{ | |<br /><br />}

regards

Marco

PS I had posted this in another section and the mods 'gently' deleted it, so I am assuming it was in the wrong section? In case this is also not the correct location for my question , could the mods KINDLY move it to the appropriate section rather than hit the 'delete' button????

    What spinner are you using?

    First, that is not random placement. It is a part of a spinning syntax that has to be manually placed so choose places where the break will make sense. The spinner then randomly chooses between the two options with the second adding in two line breaks.

    Also, make sure you have the syntax right. Get it wrong and it will create issues for you and this might be what you have done. Also make sure you are entering it into a program that will accept html in the spin tags. You might need to be in the html editor if it has one?

    The benefit? For readers, it can appear like 2 different articles. For a spider, not as much of an issue. What counts for the latter is the content itself (think of how a spider reads your site).

    In fact there are three options: blank or blank or two line breaks, which means that the two line breaks are added in ~1/3 of your articles and the blank in ~2/3 of your articles.

    If you want the line breaks to appear in more or less than 1/3 of your articles you have to add another "blank" or "line break" option:
    { | | |<br /><br />} results in ~1/4 line breaks
    { | | |<br /><br />|<br /><br />} results in ~2/5 line breaks
    The line breaks only appear at the position where you put the expression in your article.

    If the expression doesn't work in your article, your spinner might use a different spinning syntax, as ShelbyC already suggested.
