Proxy Server For Blog Commenting?

Hello,

I use Blog Comment Demon to find blogs to find blog post. I don't use this to spam, just to find them. I then may outsource some good comments for great PR ranked sites.

My question is, since I do a lot of searching for these should I set up proxy servers? And if so, how do I go about doing that. I don't know what it is. I hear a ton about them.

Thanks!

Don't think you'll need a proxy server.. I mean, unless you ARE spamming, but since you're not, you don't need one.

A Proxy Server is used to change your IP address, basically a shield to trick (some) websites into thinking your IP is something completely different.

If your IP gets blacklisted from a site from some unknown reason, then you can use a proxy server for that as well, and there are numerous CGI versions, products, and free downloads available.

I keep getting google message about automated queries from this IP. I just don't want to do anything that may get me in trouble with them.

That happens if you are making automated searches to google, maybe you are using some kind of SEO extension for firefox? Finding alternatives for that should fix your problem.

    Yeah use proxy servers.
Otherwise google might ban your IP or some thing like that.
Using proxy always keeps you in safe side.
