Wordpress API for multisite setup

Hi all.

im a bit struggling. I have set up a series of sites with wordpress 3.01 multisite setup

each site his its own domain,
I have added google analytics for each site
now I want to add wordpress stats (plugin) , but here i need to enter a wordpress api.. but it looks like I can only use one API on one domain..??
do I really need to create a seperate wordpress account for each domain ?
isnt there a smarter way to do this ?

input welcome

You can use your API key on more than one domain. Log into wordpress.com, select Global Dashboard from the dropdown. Click the My Blogs link, then click the button to add another linked blog.

    From Wordpress.org . ..

Can I use the same API key on multiple blogs?

Just like with Akismet, you're welcome to use the same API key on multiple blogs. If you view your stats directly on WordPress.com, you can easily switch between all of your blogs' stats reports.
