Does Facebook, MySpace allow standard HTML?

Hi,

Since "widgets" are so popular at these sites, it seems there is special coding. Is that true or can I offer plain HTML to my affiliates like an email subscription form going to my site with their aff id?

    I know that facebook does not allow any of that stuff at all but on myspace you can get away with a few things but I doubt it would allow a direct form submission on someones profile. It would probably need to be in a flash/silverlight app to be allowed. Best way to find out is to try though. Just put one on your myspace page and try to use it.

      yes you could do that via myspace easily, however with myspace's policies they will notify users that any forms may be a scam thus making your form seem shady.

      with facebook the process is a little more complex but easy once you get the hang of it, I recommend looking up a tutorial for starting out with the facebook api, if you need any help doing this just pm me
