WP 3.0.1 title editing question

whereabouts in the "edit themes" section can I make alterations to the font style of site title and tagline?

Is is possible to make alterations to the font style of site title and tagline?

Maybe in the edit themes, or general settings?

(I will of course check the Tube too)

thanks

    Ian,

It really does depend on the Theme you are using . . .

If the theme doesn't have any "options" in the Admin Panel, then, "normally", you would have to change the style.css file using Appearance -> Editor

Before making any changes - make sure you have a back-up copy of the file you are editing . . . you just never know . . .

Yep... it will usually be style.css, however, to find out exactly what class you're looking for, if you're using FireFox, download the add-on "Firebug" & then right click the title & select "Inspect Element"; then you will be able to see what style/class it is using & it will also tell you what file/line number that class is on.

Chrome also has similar functionality out of the box.
