Multiple Page Change Made Easy?

PROGRAMMING

I have an amazon site that has several pages of products, each with my Amazon affiliate link. If I want to sell the site is there an easy way to change the affiliate links in one edit?

In other words something that would work like a word doc "find and replace" function? The script, include or whatever would find my Amazon ID and replace it with another. Possible?

It depends on how the site was made.

If it is made with actual static files, where each page corresponds to an actual file on the server, then your answer is indeed a "Find and Replace" command. There are programs that will replace matches over multiple files n one go.

If your site runs on Wordpress or some other sort of CMS, then you ought to be able to replace the links using a database query on the table that stores your page content.
