Wordpress Author Link Shows 404 Page Not Found.

My new wordpress blog shows a 404 Page Not Found error when I click on the link of my author name. Usually this is set up automatically, so I don't know how to fix it.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Do you have that problem when using default theme? Or is there http:// before author's link?

        I actually found a solution.

        The problem was my user name was originally created with a space in the middle which apparently messed up the php link or something like that.

        I followed this tutorial and removed the space from my user name and now it works fine.

        If anyone else has that problem just follow the steps in the article above and you should be good to go.

      Its unbelievable that two years later this is still an issue. Thankfully the above solution still fixes the problem.
