The newest posts are displaying underneath the older posts. Is there a setting somewhere that I have set wrong?

Did you make those older posts sticky? If you did they always show on top.

Have you changed your theme recently? Some badly coded themes might mess up the order of posts but most likely it is the sticky posts.

Oh well I just changed the posting times of each and now they're displaying correctly. Maybe because I was screwing around with the time zones earlier one was actually scheduled before but maybe for a different time zone. If that makes any sense.

I don't even know how to make a post sticky.

Normally you have to play with PHP files or install a plugin to make WP do that.

Check to see if the theme you're using has any custom settings. Might be something wonky in there.

Also, SOP for me when there's a problem is to turn off *all* plugins. Some plugins don't play well together and can cause really bizarre things to happen.
