please can you transfer from shared server to another vps please

Hello all, please I need a strong favour from you guys .

Some time ago I had a shared web host where I was able to edit the php.ini files

long story short I wasn't able to do this after they accidentally deleted my account then apart from that some privileges were not made.
I then created a VPS after they had adviced me on that, the only problem I have now is the vps has no cpanel installed on it,.

though I will be getting the licence today.



Please I need someone who can help me on this transfer this using this article as a lead

please I am aware of these steps but don't know how to go abt this

1.Step One: Enable Secure Shell (SSH) Access
2.Step Two: Download CLI / SSH Client Software
3.Step Three: Login Via SSH To Your Existing Web Hosting Account
4.Step Four: Start The Transfer

truth is i don't know JACK

please will provide the web details

please I need your strong favour
to transfer the shared account to this new vps account and also

include the databases.

I will be forever grateful if someone can help

    I don't want to discourage you or anything like that...
    But, If you don't know how to do those things you are going to have a hard time managing this VPS. Generally all server duties are yours on a VPS.
    Eg. Security, updates and upgrades of software packages, DNS, installations of software's, etc...

    Just a heads up.

    @phpbbxpert thanks for the fast advice, the truth is am not going to manage it, the only thing i need now as we speak is to get the transfer from the shared plan to the vps plan all files and databases to be installed after that, i get a friend to help out and use.

    That's all i need

      You could look into paying someone to do this. Seems to me a good admin can do this properly and in no time. Wouldn't cost much too. do you know where to go for this? If not i'll ask my guy if he can do this. you can talk to him on the charges.
      Because if something goes wrong who you gonna call? at least if you paid someone you can be sure it will be done correctly.
