How to create joomla module?

I know Php scripting language. and I also know Joomla a bit. i want to create my own joomla module. How can i develop joomla module?

Please suggest e-book or video tutorial.

    I found the best way to do it was to find a module with similar features to the one I want to create and modify it. You can then simply use Google and the Jooma documentation to make the tweaks.

    Doing it this way, I had created and launched a Joomla module in a couple of hours.

    I've always found that the best way to learn a new programming technique is to look at existing examples.

    Since you're going about learning I suggest you learn the three major CMS, Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal so that you have a good grasp for doing web development with any of them.
