Hi, I had my domain parked on sedo. I decided to put some content on it, so I changed DNS to my hosting provider hostgator and removed domain from sedo list. But now when I type domain name without www it is still sedo parking page. (over two hours after changing DNS),but even worse when I type domain with www, it opens different page I think it's domain sponsor parking.
How come??? It should be hostgator 404 page right?

Well you may have to give it a little time, to propagate, it can take up to 48 hours, but usually it is like around 15 to 20 minutes, here recently a popular registrar, began to delay DNS changes, while collecting adsense revenue on the changed domain,

For example say I had a website parked, that was generating a fair amount of traffic and the registrar, was collecting a few bucks a month on it, if they were doing that with like ten thousand domains, it would not be in their best interest to immediately change over the DNS , one trick I have tried is logging back into the account and checking in the control panel to see if the changes had been made yet, on occasion, right after I logged in for the second time the change was made.

On a few other occasions it took like 14 hours, but definitely check back to see if your submission form was accepted.

Thank you for your reply even if my post is kind of out of topic here.
They say it may take up to 48 hours, it's ok.Usually it takes few minutes. But I don't understand why it's third party involved, which is domainsponsor. Do they take care of transfer or what? I have checked DNS multiple times, and change was submited to hostgator DNS, but it is still domainsponsor parking page.

This is a DNS cache problem. Different locations, countries, regions, use different DNS servers. The refresh is not synchronous. So give it some time.

The difference between www. and without www is due to your computer's dns cache. Run "ipconfig /flushdns" in run menu (if you are using windows OS). And clear your browser's cache.
