IE8 and paypal shopping cart

When visiting offline Client's e-commerce store PAyPal shopping cart using IE8,
I always get the windows pop up asking if I want to view secure content only.

Very bad from the user/sales standpoint as it happens each time I go back and forth
from site to cart to add items to my shopping cart.

Is that just an optimization for IE8? Or something more programming wise?
Or an unavoidable issue with IE and PayPal?

This message is displayed in IE8 and IE9β when part of the page is secure and the other part is not.

    Possible reasons:
    (1) Your client has a Paypal payement gateway embedded into his site, but is not using encryption (i.e.- SSL/TLS).
    (2) Your client's page redirects to an external Paypal page to process payment, however the source page does not have SSL installed.
    (3) Your client's secure payment page has an external frame, iframe, etc. in it
    (4) Your client's secure payment page has have fallen victim to an iframe injection type attack.

    It's probably #1 or 2.
Check if SSL is set up on the page in question (does the URL say HTTP or HTTPS?)

If there's no 'S' at the end of HTTP, you're going to need to purchase an SSL certificate.

      ORVN, thank you very much.

That's the ticket. Klugie that they need SSL
      for their site.
