Why wont my site work in IE

I have had a new site made bongal.com.

It works fine in Chrome, Safari and Firefox but it crashes my computer in ie7 and 8. Can someone go check it out and let me know what may be going on please.

    i just tried in ie 7 and 8 and it loads ok, alittle slow but it does load.

    there's an awful lot of javascript on this site. I suspect this is your problem. It certainly is the reason why it is so slow.

    Took a quick look with IE 8 and Windows 7 32-bit. Seems like your menu tabbing is very slow. Are you using a third party app for the code? I don't like all the script on the page and I am wary of that browser detect routine with Safari. Yet in Firefox it runs fine. Typically of IE to have issues.

    Holy cow! 1.3MB for a simple page like that?

    Your site was poorly designed. It loads EVERY CSS image, whether the page display needs it or not, all 800K+. It loads what looks to be every jquery addon in existence, over 200K worth.

    Needs a lot of optimization and pruning.
